Corfu Island part 2
I now regret I spent only one day in the splendid city, Corfu Town. I loved walking around Kerkira admiring the beautiful architecture. It's one of the most charming and romantic cities I've ever seen. Almost 500 years of Venetian, French and British occupation have definitely left their influence on this place. The city´s architecture today is mainly of Venetian origin. It was an unforgettable experience walking up and down along the tall, narrow alleys between high old houses, old Venetian wells and hidden gardens looking around to discover the old town secrets.
