Vest Diaries
While digging through my closet, searching for fall goodies that I had stashed away, I pulled out this - my old, and very well loved denim vest. I purchased it in the fall of 2006 while shopping with a friend at Urban Outfitters (she bought the same one!), and I just can't seem to let it go. The other day I told Scott that I was on the search for a new denim vest this fall and he asked me why. While I thought an updated version might be nice, I didn't have a solid reason. His thought- denim lasts forever! I do kind of love how it has seen me through so many years and stages of life, and I foresee it only getting better with time (that's what they say about jean, right?)....
