This ruffle detailed shirtdress makes me feel like the love child of Captain Hook and Napoleon Bonaparte. These are modern times, and that can happen. In my mind, it just did. I bought this jacket during my summer travels to Lebanon. I fell in love with the details: cutouts, gold embroidery, and subtle beading. I figured I could wear it during the Fall, but it doesn't seem to be practical anymore. I'd have to layer another jacket over it just to be warm enough or wear a sweater under it, both of which will create too much bulk to comfortably walk around. Hopefully I'll get a little more use out of it this season! XOXO S. ...
