Inspirational Teachers
Right before the school year started, we had a speaker for a district-wide presentation. I didn't know ahead of time, but as soon as the introduction started I realized that Erin Gruwell of Freedom Writers fame was going to be our speaker! It was quite an inspirational morning. In talking to Jim later in the day about the presentation (we work in the same district) he admitted to never having seen the movie. We decided to start the year off with some inspirational teaching movies.
