Sunflower Chic: on Watching NYFW from the American Midwest
My manikin, Emanuelle, has been sporting this leopard suit all summer long in one corner of our living room. As I've studied her, I decided the look needed the hat. And then, the sunglasses. I week later, I added the sunflower. She's stood in the corner and is no worse for the direct sunshine, though it is time to dust her off and change her look for the season. As I've pondered what she'll wear next, I realized that I don't think I swam a single time all summer. The problem seems to be my hair.
