Another week, another dress... well it seems that way. I made this dress to wear to a friend's fundraising trivia night on Saturday night. I didn't realize it was an outdoor event, but luckily it stayed reasonably warm and I may have also benefitted from wearing my champagne coat (a slightly more ladylike version of a beer coat.) lol! This dress was a dream to wear and a dream to make! Seriously, you will see this pattern again this summer. I made a straight size 10, which is my standard Vogue size and one size smaller than my actual measurements. I find the ease in big 4 patterns is always overly generous and I don't need four and a half inches of ease around...
