Fort Edmonton Park One of my favourite things to do in Edmonton in the summer is visit Fort Edmonton Park! The largest historic park in the country, Fort Ed takes you on a interactive walk through the 1840s-1920s. Divided into four sections, one gets to experience Edmonton as a fur trading fort, before it was ever even a settlement, 1880s Edmonton, my personal favourite 1905, all the way to the 1920s. On '20s street you can stay at the Selkirk hotel, and even watch classic films at the Capitol Theatre through the year. Fort Edmonton is also used as a backdrop for many films due to the curators' ridiculous attention to detail. The Assassination of Jesse James was filmed here! This...
