Thanks to a few connections at work, my co-worker and I found ourselves in the VIP section of an Empire of the Sun concert along the Hudson River yesterday evening. Even though being in VIP isn't that big of a deal, I started walking with a swagger as if I knew the band or something actually worth swaggering up for. All we really got to do was stand in a special section which wasn't that special at all. I had high expectations for the VIP section...
