Gathering
Tonight was my turn to host book club, so I chose the hilarious Bossypants because it is such an easy read and induced moments of laughing out-loud in public settings. There was a bit of improvising towards the beginning because I went on a long run prior, and as people were trickling in I was still in the kitchen perfecting the fruit salad and recruiting someone to help me bake the gluten-free bread. I really appreciate moments like these when a group of gals get together and just enjoy each other's company, free of pretense or expectation.
