Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Well, all my NYC vacation recap posts are over. I guess that means back to reality, right? Sort of. How about back to the 1980s? Yeah, that sounds fun.
Last weekend, Kristin (you remember Kristin ) performed in an 80s cabaret, and she not so subtly mentioned that audience participation was encouraged. I really did want to dress the part, but I had just done some killer shopping in NYC, so I wanted to show off my new purchases.
I went for the best of both worlds: instead of going in “costume,” I wore some of my new duds with a retro spin. Honestly, I can’t think of a better way to break in a faux leather mini skirt than at an 80s party,...
