Putting the Mod in Modmucha
In a fit of late-night insanity back in July, I entered the Denver Modernism Show 's Miss Modernism Pageant , which was held last night. The prizes were so amazing, I just had to try for it. I wanted to go for a true 60's mod look, because there still hasn't been a really "mod" Miss Modernism, and I wanted to be the first. Alas, I got no love from the judges and didn't place, but I have no regrets about anything I chose to do - from the outfit to my talent portion (a bellydance to "Miserlou").
