Gone Girl
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn: This book is amazing! I don't even like thrillers or mysteries as genres and I loved this book! It was so engrossing, surprising, and fun ! I stayed up a couple nights reading and that's huge coming from a sleep-deprived mother of a newborn! So what's the book about? In a word: marriage. In more words: a wife who is missing and the husband suspected of murdering her. In even more words: each chapter switches from being told from the husband's present point of view to the wife's past diary entries so it recounts their relationship from the giddy beginnings to the grisly present.
