Based on the sheer number of times this has happened before, you would think that we’d get some sort of break or that preventive measures have already been set in place so it wouldn’t happen again. But no. Unfortunately, we are back in the same pickle. We are back to #RescuePH and #ReliefPH. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thankful that we have all these efforts to save and resore what was lost. I just wish there was nothing to save in the first place. Typhoon Maring was worse than Ondoy , and even though I am safely tucked under the sunny skies of Cebu, my heart is still breaking with every update of flooded streets, broken houses and separated families.
