the diy circle skirt
Urban Outfitters shirt, Self-sewn skirt, Zara heels Thank you for the photos, Paulina ! I made this skirt earlier this week and had been dying to wear it, but I decided to save it for the brunch yesterday.Whenever I'm looking to practice my sewing skills I always tend to make a circle skirt. I took out the serger on this project, taking the time to serge the hem and as well serge the seam where the waistband and skirt meet. Even though you don't see the inside of the waistband, such a small detail really makes this skirt feel less "homemade" and a bit more on the professional side.
