I love getting the most use out of my dresses by layering shirts or sweaters over them ( exhibit a & exhibit b ). And since my search for the perfect little black flared skirt has thus far been unsuccessful, I decided to "create" my own with a dress I've had sitting in my closet for months. It was an easy solution for happy hour with friends & the ideal pairing for this new BaubleBar necklace - my absolute favorite yet from them! With a cool vintage feel, it's great worn alone against a simple tee for daytime or layered with other pieces for an evening-worthy statement ( bonus: it's under $45! ).
