From blog a Reason to be Fabulous
when the waters receded
I'm back! We've finally moved back into our apartment and unpacked all our things- what a task! We moved out on Saturday and back in on Wednesday, and all weekend Ben and I have been sorting out our things. There were a lot of great things that came out of the flood; we got rid of our nasty old carpet in exchange for ceramic tile, we re-arranged our furniture and deep cleaned our house (both needed to be done) and we made friends with our neighbors. I'm not saying this week has been easy but I know that there's always a reason things happen and you have to stay positive, even when things don't go the way you planned.
