The line for the fabric counter can get pretty long at my local craft shop so I learned a long time ago to get all of my selections cut in one trip at one time. Last Saturday it took an hour (40 minutes of browsing and 20 minutes of standing around waiting for my number to be called) before I made it out of the fabric department and over to the dye aisle, down the bead aisle, and around the glitter and ribbon side caps. Just before I headed to the check-out counter I made one final sweep of the sewing section for threads and elastics and in an instant the delicious warm color palette of this little fungi print grabbed my attention.
