With no holiday let cleaning to be done in the morning, we grabbed a few biscuits for breakfast and started the hour long journey to my favourite beach in the UK - Porthcurno. On a hot day when the sea is calm, it feels like you're somewhere in the med; the sand is sparkly white and the sea is crystal clear.
