So for the 4th of July my family invited us to go on a little mini vacation to the Biltmore in NC. If you're not from the USA or have never heard of it, it's completely awesome. Maybe not for people from Europe because I imagine you have loads of old mansions/homes like it just hanging around (or at least that's what I imagine). Basically it's the largest privately owned home in America and was built by George Vanderbilt from 1889-1895. They have most of the home refurbished and restored to what it would have looked like originally, which is just wonderful.
