Oh say, my kitty Here in Cincinnati, Independence Day was somewhat gloomy, grey and soggy. The rain didn't stop the patriotic shenanigans in my home state, though, because when the sun went down, fireworks exploded all over the Kentucky riverfront. I went to Eden Park's Twin Lakes Overlook and watched a myriad of pyrotechnics pop up over Newport, Bellevue and Dayton. Despite the damp, it was damned awesome.
