what I wore to the museum
Day 3 in LA, we went to the California Science Museum to see the retired Space Shuttle Endeavor.
I don't know what it is about space shuttles (perhaps I'm still traumatized witnessing the 1981 Columbia disaster) but every time I see one I feel tremendously emotional.
The space shuttle was much larger than I had envisioned and just imagining it soaring threw space and coming back to mother earth gave me the goose bumps. Truly fascinating!!
