Milly for Banana Republic - 2 ways I think it is clever marketing of higher end designers collaborating with mass retailers to get their name out. They gain so much brand awareness and hype with these collaboration. I still remember how crazy everyone was for the Target Missoni line and how expensive these items were listed in ebay. You can call me a sucker when it comes to these collaborations, I loved BR's collaboration with Trina Turk last year and this year's with Milly does not disappoint.
