DIY: J. Crew inspired top I really liked this J. Crew top the minute I saw it online, but I wasn't going to spend $110 on it. So I decided to make my own version. Here is what I used to update a shirt I already had in my closet. Permanent fabric glue Rhinestones with sticky back Shirt with mandarin collar First, I arranged the rhinestones the way I wanted them on my shirt (this is why the rhinestones with sticky back are a better option). Once they were in place I went back and glued them using the permanent fabric glue. Last, I hanged my shirt to air-dry for the night.
