(Outfit Diary) Portobello Road
I can't think of Portobello Road without the song from Bedknobs and Broomsticks popping into my head - and playing on repeat for several days. We had to visit the famous street in Notting Hill during our trip to London, just to see the whimsical, colourfully-painted buildings. What we discovered, not surprisingly, is that Portobello Road itself is a long and, in places, slightly shabby, tourist trap... but if you turn right onto Denbigh Terrace, you'll find all the pretty, brightly coloured houses your heart desires, with none of the distractions - peddlers, souvenir magnets and alleged antiques - of the adjacent road.
