* The Outfit *
One of my favorite things to do is to mix prints together. Through bouts of trial and error, I’ve learned that making different prints appear cohesive is dependent upon two things: scale and color. Scale is important because it’s all about balancing. While this skirt has a chunky plaid pattern, the delicate clover-shaped dots on the shirt help to balance it out. The forest green color in the skirt is echoed by the clover-shaped dots in the shirt.
