When our city fell
This is February 22 2011.It's hard to believe but today marks the 1 year anniversary.At 12:51pm a horrific 6.3 magnitude quake struck my home town, Christchurch, killing 185 people and impacting the lives of everyone.It wasn't the largest quake, that was a 7.1 on September 4 2010 at 4:35am, but it was by far the most devastating.We lost our home, like many others, and lived in a friends' garage for 6 weeks until we could find somewhere to live, which at the time really was a struggle.Clean running water, a functioning sewage system and having your loved ones close are the only things that really matter in life.So where are we today?We've had over 10,000 aftershocks since...
