I recently spotted the shorts plus blazer look in a store catalogue, I can't remember which store, but it doesn't matter. I haven't stopped thinking about the look since I saw it and although I remember the catalogue look to be more casual, I thought that shorts plus a blazer was a nice change for the office during Spring and Summer. Yes ok shorts can be risky sometimes to wear to work, especially if they're too short. But as long as you keep the entire outfit simple and light colored, you'll definitely look more polished than not. And of course with lighter Spring colors, you need a lighter colored bag so as to not burden the rest of your look....
