ITALIAN INSPIRATION
Since the weather currently really lets us down in Germany, Mr C and I escaped to Lake Garda, Italy for a long weekend. Dolce far niente - enjoying a glass of red wine, excellent food, sightseeing to Verona, Garda and Bardolino and a little bit of shopping. Temperatures were still chilly but we had lovely sunshine and really made the most of our stay. If you ever have a chance to visit the area (luckily only a 4 hrs drive from Bavaria) I highly recommend Residence Ca' Del Lago in Torri del Benaco near Garda.
