The City's Thumbprint Phoenix is one of those cities you can always count on for amazing street art. Every few blocks in downtown (or sometimes every block) you can also bet that you're going to find something colorful and unique adorning an old brick wall. About three weeks ago I started to watch this brightly colored, thumbprint design come to life as I drove by each day on my way to get coffee. I loved watching the progression as more colors were added, and the detail started to come alive. As of now, I'm not quite sure of the meaning behind the art piece (it is painted like a thumbprint, though, with the year 1913 being at the center), but do love how much it brightens up this once...
