MBFWA 2013: Raffles
Fashion week might be prominent for featuring big names - designers that have made it in the industry and constantly dress the celebrities. Today, however, I was treated to some beautiful showcase of student designers. Raffles show at the MBFWA reminds me that I need to stop being a vintage snob. Sometimes I think that I wear vintage because modern designs are not capable of delivering the kind of elegance I craved. But really, I wear vintage for a very different reason. I like stories, I like the history behind vintage, and I like knowing that it was not mass-produced.
