Colorblocking: Red and Purple
I have seen this particular colorblock pair (red and purple) parading around blogs and clothing stores and I love it! They are great complimentary colors and make an outfit interesting. I feel like I am wearing something much more daring than just a pencil skirt and a sweater to work. Getting up and getting dressed has "literally" never been more fun. (Said like Rob Lowe in Parks and Rec.) The only problem was in the tights and footwear. Because of the nautical stripe shirt underneath, I wanted to keep the shoes a warm color.
