At last Regardess the lousy weather in Rome, the cherry blossoms bloomed at last. Yoku gambatta ne! (You sure worked hard, sakura!). This is the closest one can ever get to Japan in Italy and I'm real happy to have seen such a work of nature :) Cherry blossoms are symbolic in Japan, being the national flower, not only for their delicate and simple yet breathtaking beauty but because of their short longevity. My favorite flowers are definitely cherry blossoms along with camelias and gardenias.
