The only delightful thing that happens after Christmas is the abundance of after-Christmas sales. I tend to feel a bit melancholy when I put away holiday decorations, no longer see the reflection of house lights waltzing across my car window, or the levels on the cheer-o-meter for crowds seem to reach a newer low. Sometimes, a good bargain cures a bit of this sadness. It makes me feel appreciative that I spent the time to tarry and it satiates the steal-of-a-deal girl...
