Birthdays are a very big deal around my office. By the time the day was done, she had six huge bouquets of flowers, boxes of chocolates, and an oversized stuffed animal. And she also had a lunch for all the employees. Birthdays also equal happy hour...the wine, vodka, and some dark colored alcohol (whiskey? brandy?) came out around 12 pm.
