I started needed glasses when I was ten. I used to sit at the back of the classroom (badass, right?) and kept finding the swiggly writing on the board more and more difficult to read. I used to go up to the front of the class with my workbook to copy notes from the board at the end of a lesson. I didn't want to admit that I needed glasses.
