Roller Derby and a Day at The Mall
In Edmonton, generally when people say they're going to the mall, most of the time they are referring to The Mall - West Edmonton Mall. It's a colossal, decrepit shrine to consumerism, which was, for many years, the largest shopping centre on earth. It's still the biggest on the continent, and is Canada's Mall of America equivalent. It has a waterpark, indoor amusement park, mini golf, a music venue, hotel with theme rooms, a deep sea submarine ride and over 400 hundred stores.
