I’m not sure when my love affair with combining patterns began. Maybe it was when I saw how dynamic prints and colors can be when paired together. Kind of like John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction . They appear to be the most unlikely pairing, but their individual idiosyncrasies only add to what makes them interesting together. For me, stripes and checks have that sort of chemistry.
