Shrunked
I really liked this cream lace blouse on the hanger but was never quite sure of the fit when it was on. The proportions always seemed slightly off – the shoulders that little bit too puffy, the sleeves that little bit too long, the fit in the body that little bit too short:
In any case, after being washed a couple of times (100% in accordance with the instructions on the label) it had shrunk to kiddie size, so has been returned. I’ve been finding lately that a lot of Topshop and Zara stuff shrinks considerably when washed. I don’t think that used to happen – or maybe I just never noticed/was bothered by it.
