Fun Socks
On Fridays if the kids have been productive and all our work is done, I let them go outside and have a few minutes of recess. I am one of those teachers who will occasionally throw a basketball around with the kids and interact in the games. Today I ended up playing hand soccer with the kids, which is pretty much the it playground sport these days. Anyways, the kids were pretty impressed with my hand soccer skills despite how uncoordinated I thought I was. Afterwards I got a lot of congratulatory high-fives and That was awesome! from my students. I think it is fun for them to see that their teacher can have fun with them too! J.
