This morning, my mother deserted us for a week of sunshine in Palm Beach and I couldn't be more jealous. While it's not supposed to be super hot there this week, I am just envious that she is escaping the snow and ice, which are really starting to get to me. As I mentioned in my last post, I'm planning a few vacations over the next little while (with the theory that getting some real sun will save me from having to give in and purchase one of these idiotic things that I've been seeing advertised on television every day), but I'm having trouble narrowing down where to go.
