I live down the street from Place des Vosges . Sometimes I just have to say that to remind myself that it's true; the first six months of my year in Paris are quickly coming to an end and it all still feels like a wonderful dream - particularly on sunny days. This might sound a bit sentimental, and it probably is, but Paris has the bluest skies I've ever seen. Taking this year has been the best thing I could have done for myself; I've had the chance to go on so many wonderful adventures and to do simple things I just didn't have time for in my old life, like ballet and sketching and mid-week walks.
