Go faster stripes
I really, really wanted to love these track pants. I’d seen the Zara ones late last year but couldn’t get hold of them in my size. These were a joyful find when I popped into Topshop (in mud-splattered walking gear - got a few strange looks) on my way home from a Ramblers walk last weekend.
They promised to be the perfect slouchy/dressy crossover trouser but unfortunately failed to deliver. Problem 1 – they look horrific with anything other than stilletos and I can only do shoes like this on taxi nights. Problem 2 – seriously baggy bum area, very unflattering indeed.
