An Ode to The Circus of Fashion
So if you are wondering about the title, than you probably haven't read The Circus of Fashion by Suzy Menkes that was in the NY Times this past Sunday. It's definitely thought provoking and I have to agree with a lot of what she has to say. To summarize, she is basically stating that bloggers and editors are often dressing simply to get noticed, for "fame". They wear the most ridiculous of outfits in the hopes of being photographed. I definitely feel like there are a handful out there that throw on a bunch of high-end designer duds and think it looks good solely for the name...but in reality they just look like, well, "clowns".
