Even though I didn't have a lick of a sense of style until college was nearly over, I had always enjoyed shopping. In elementary school I concentrated my efforts on NKOTB paraphernalia, that led to a chubby junior high stage where all I wanted were sweets, then freshman year of high school was all about YA books that developed into my personal discovery of Anne Rice's gothic novels.
But my first memory of shopping that pertained to style was in elementary school when I got a pair of purple and neon green high-top Reebok Pump sneakers.
