A New Year
Yesterday was the official start of the Year of the Snake. I love Chinese NY since it's my cultural heritage and always brings back happy childhood memories. Some of the fun things about the NY is celebrating with loved ones, lighting firecrackers, eating sweets, receiving a red envelope with $$$ (I don't receive them any more since I have a child). May you have a healthy & prosperous year of the snake! Red is the color of prosperity & happiness. In honor of my heritage, I am wearing red today. And since it's almost Valentine....maybe for that too. BTW, did anyone stop by Target yesterday to pick up the new Prabal Gurung collection? I did not have...
