Springtime In Hanoi
… which apparently feels more like early fall.
Trang, one of my best friends from high school just came home (from the UK! Lucky girl) for the Lunar New Year, so on Tuesday we met at Sword Lake and hung out around the Old Quarter. Just the usual bookstore visiting, ice cream eating, photo taking, people watching, goofing off stuff we used to do, but it was special this time because 1) it’s been nearly three years since we last saw each other (I went to visit her in London during a break back in grad school), and 2) Sword Lake and the surrounding streets have been decked out for the Lunar New Year, there were lovely things to look at and more people...
