Go Red
February is national heart month and over the weekend I attended a local Go Red for Women fundraiser dinner. While the food, music, raffles and company were fun and fabulous, there was also a forty year old woman from my town who stood up and spoke about how last February she suffered a heart attack, and nearly died because she ignored all the symptoms. I feel like most women would probably do the same because they are: shortness of breath, dizziness, nausea, back pain, jaw pain, pain in the lower chest or upper abdomen and extreme fatigue.
