Take 5 - Pleated Orange Skater Skirt 2013 is still favouring lots of bold colour and although many people claim not to be able to wear orange (or vibrant tangerine like this skirt); I'm here to say you're wrong. The key trick with any colour that isn't flattering to your complexion is to either wear a little bit of it in an accessory, or avoid putting it near your face. Hence I think anyone can try any seasonal colour and coloured bottoms are good for everyone! I find the high waist of this Dorothy Perkins skirt really flattering as it shows off my slim mid line while hiding my hips/thighs - the third/third/third proportions of each outfit feel balanced to me. Pleats really help a skirt fall well...
