Cobalt blue coat project
I finally finished sewing my retro cobalt blue coat :) Well, it has been done just before xmas to be perfectly honest, but taking these pictures to show you the final result took me a while. To sew this coat I used vintage Vogue sewing pattern from 1953. I made it a bit shorter than the pattern says, as I wanted to wear it with rather flat shoes than high heels, but now I think I should have sewed it a bit longer as it would have looked more like a real 50s reproduction. But I am still satisfied, and I am planning to sew another one for selling if you are interested. I want to also sew another one for spring (if I find some time to sew it), in mustard or...
