Tuddenham Mill!
Tuddenham Mill ( is another hotel that we've read about a while ago and has been in our list of places to visit. It's a converted mill dating from 1775 set in a rural location in Suffolk (about 90 minutes drive from London). The rooms are lovely, very spacious and with a view to either the fields (in our case) or the river. I had a bath in the huge bathtub, took a nap, went to dinner, and finished by laying in the sofa watching a dvd and the fire. Unfortunately it was a bit cloudy and my efforts to watch the stars with the telescope were not met with success :)After a late breakfast it was time to leave.
